PORT CHESTER, NY (CelebrityAccess) — The late guitarist and touring artist Neal Casal will be honored at a tribute concert at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester on September 25th.
The “There’s A Reward: A Celebration Of The Life & Music Of Neal Casal” concert will feature a host of Casal’s former bandmates and colleagues, including the members of his band Circles Around the Sun, as well as Citizen Cope, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Mapache, Hazeldine, and numerous others.
Other artists on the bill for the tribute show include: Beachwood Sparks, Joe Russo, Dave Dreiwitz, Tom Hamilton & Scott Metzger, Dave Schools, Jeff Hill, Bob Glaub, Dan Fadel, Davis Jaynes, Don Heffington, Dori Freeman, Jesse Aycock, John Ginty, Jon Graboff, John Lee Shannon, Kenny Roby, Leslie Mendelson, Rickey Medlocke, Robbi Robb, and Zephaniah Ohora,
Additional special guests will be announced in the coming days.
Tickets for There’s A Reward: A Celebration Of The Life & Music Of Neal Casal go on-sale this Friday, September 13 at Noon ET with all net proceeds to be donated to MusiCares.
In addition to the tribute show, Casal’s band Circles Around The Sun completed a studio album in the week prior to Casal’s untimely death and surviving members, keyboardist Adam MacDougall, bassist Dan Horne, and drummer Mark Levy plan to launch a North American tour in October.
A new guitarist for the band will be announced shortly and Circles Around the Sun plan to honor all previously announced tour dates.
Casal, who was 50, died in an apparent suicide on August 26th.
