(CelebrityAccess) — On Tuesday, Pandora announced the launch of a new feature that lets the streamer’s users share songs, albums, podcasts, playlists or Pandora stations with friends via Instagram Stories.
The service, which is available to users of all Pandora’s tiers, allows a would-be sharer to tap “Share” and then “Instagram Stories” on the Now Playing screen to insert the audio along with a cover art card for that music or podcast into their Instagram Stories feed.
The post can be modified and shared as a direct message to a friend, a group of friends, or all of a user’s followers, a presser from Pandora said.
Friends viewing the Instagram story will be able to access the content via Pandora, along with the streaming service’s full music and podcast library, even if they don’t have access to the service.
As well, Pandora Premium subscribers will be able to share the content plus a session of free, unlimited, on-demand music and podcasts after viewing a short ad via Pandora’s Premium Access feature.
