JAKARTA (CelebrityAccess) – Jakarta has a brand new music festival. The Jakarta Blues International Festival will celebrate its inaugural edition this upcoming December 7-8 at Tennis Indoor Senayan Area, in Jakarta, Indonesia.
According to an official press release, the festival will feature a mix of international acts such as Paul Gilbert, Ken Hensley, The Calling, Bumblefoot, Miguel Balaguer (Spanyol), and Shun Kikuta (Jepang) and local favourites including The Rollies, Gugun Blues Shelter, Adrian Adieoetomo, Blues Libre, Edwin Marshall Project, Voxa and more.
The event will feature three stages: the Vintage Stage, Iconic Stage and Crossroad Stage. The Vintage Stage & Iconic Stages will host an array of blues artists while the Crossroads Stage will have a more intimate atmosphere and feature acoustic artists performing in a masterclass style setting.
Additionally, the festival will feature a number of culinary vendors and food trucks, an onsite vinyl store and official merch. Meet and greet sessions with many of the artists are also scheduled throughout the event.
