(CelebrityAccess) — American country music singer and songwriter and a radio host Caroline Jones made her late-night television debut with an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday night.
Jones used the opportunity to perform “Tough Guys,” a rock-tinged country anthem replete with a harmonic breakdown, the latest single off her forthcoming EP “Chasing Me.”
Jones, an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and the daughter of Greenwich hedge fund manager Paul Tudor Jones, has been toiling in the country music trenches since 2011 but had her first major breakthrough in 2018 with the release of her fifth studio album “Bare Feet.” Jones handled all of the songwriting on the Ric Wake-produced album and it peaked at 11 on the Country Sales Chart.
Jones’ single, “Chasin’ Me” landed on the Mediabase country chart at number 50 in June.
Jones is currently on the road, providing support for the Zac Brown Band, with shows scheduled through Sept. 22nd when she’s lined up to perform at the Bourbon & Beyond Festival in Louisville, Kentucky.
