LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Live Nation Entertainment has promoted senior concert promoter Kelly Kapp to Vice President Touring/ Executive Vice President HOBE Talent.

Previously the SVP of HOBE Talent, Kapp will be the first executive to have a dual role across Live Nation US Concerts and its Clubs and Theaters division, reporting to both Bob Roux and Ron Bension, respectively.

Kapp has been with Live Nation for 17 years, starting first as a Project Manager for North American Concerts, working on tours such as Ozzfest, Van Halen, Projkect Revolution, Family Values and Destiny Child’s farewell tour. When Live Nation acquired House of Blues in 2006, Kapp became its inaugural tour buyer. Since then, she has contributed significantly to the success of the division, leading the division in number of tours and shows booked each year.

In her new hybrid role, Kapp will use her expertise to create dynamic packages that will benefit artists and fans alike. According to Live Nation, she will continue to cultivate her relationships with bands beginning at the club and theater level, and will now be able to stay with them throughout their career, regardless of the venue size they perform at.

“Kelly has been a key contributor and leader in the Live Nation touring division for many years, and we are thrilled with what we know she will accomplish with her new role,” said Bob Roux, President, US Concerts.

Since 2009, Kapp has booked over 4,850 shows – 800 by the end of 2019 alone, grossing over 130 million dollars from 4.5 million tickets sold. She is a second-generation concert promoter, whose passion and love for music stemmed from her late father, Bruce Kapp, who was a Senior Vice President of Touring for Live Nation before he passed in 2008.

Notable artists Kapp has worked with over the years include: Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage, Bring Me the Horizon, Dita Von Teese, Hanson, Frank Turner, Anberlin, Korn, Chevelle, Ghost, The Used, Hollywood Undead, All Time Low, Dashboard Confessional, Bullet For My Valentine, Sum 41, In This Moment, Black Label Society, Elle King, HIM, Bad Religion, Stone Sour, Circa Survive, Between the Buried And Me, and Hobo Johnson among countless others.
