Hundreds of musicians were left unpaid when the site shuttered. Some estimates of company debt range as high as $3 million.

With the site shutdown, artists are no longer able to download previous fan and order data.
The music crowdfunder had been expected to enter administration, the UK equivalent of bankruptcy, more than two months ago. The lack of activity and only occasional vague statements from the PledgeMusic board have angered artists and artists advocates. UK music trade groups have called for an investigation.
