NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) – Primary Wave Music Publishing has acquired a stake in the music catalog of Grammy award-nominated guitarist, singer, songwriter and actor Dave Navarro.
Navarro is a member of alternative rock band Jane’s Addiction and a former member of Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Included in the deal, which also covers Navvaro’s master revenue streams and writer’s share royalties, are some of his biggest hits as a songwriter such as Jane’s Addiction No.1 smash, “Been Caught Stealing” and their Top 10 hit “Jane Says,” as well as the Red Hot Chili Peppers hit, “Aeroplane.”

Last month, Primary Wave announced a minority equity interest in Premier Music Group and in May the New-York-based company acquired a ‘multi-million-dollar’ stake in British band Culture Club’s publishing and master recording income stream.
