SACRAMENTO, CA (CelebrityAccess) — 1990s R&B icons TLC announced they have been forced to pull out of a pair of performances after Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas announced that she was experiencing some vocal issues.
It breaks my heart to tell our fans that we have to cancel our performance tonight at Sacramento because I lost my voice and my dr has me on strict voice rest. We want the fans at Sacramento to know we love them and thank them for their support.

The remaining two members of TLC, Chilli and T-Boz, are on the road as part of a package tour with Nelly and Flo Rida. Affected dates include the tour’s Sunday night performance at the California State Fair in Sacramento, where they were replaced in the lineup by the funk performer Eric “EQ” Young.
As well, TLC will miss a show at the Stanislaus State Fair on Tuesday, where they will be replaced by En Vogue.
“We are very disappointed TLC cancelled, especially because the community was extremely excited for the show. We know this is always a possibility in our line of business,” Adrenna Alkhas, a spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair told CBS News. “We are still very excited to have En Vogue replacing them. We wish Chilli from TLC a fast recovery from losing her voice.”
