(CelebrityAccess) — Rapper Tyga became the latest hip-hop artist to show solidarity with A$AP Rocky by canceling an upcoming performance in Sweden.
“I have decided to cancel my show,” Tyga wrote in a post on his Instagram feed. “I will not be performing in Sweden this Sunday July 14.”
He went on to explicitly tie it to the ongoing detention of A$AP Rocky by including the hashtag #Freeasaprocky.
Tyga joins a growing roster of artists who have announced plans to boycott Sweden, including Tyler, The Creator, T.I., and Lil Yachty.
Rocky was detained last week after he and several members of his entourage were captured on video assaulting a man in the street outside of a Stockholm restaurant. Rocky claims men were harassing him as well as groping women in the street.
Following his arrest, Rocky was forced to cancel a number of European festival dates while Swedish police conduct an investigation of the alleged assault.
