SWEDEN (CelebrityAccess) – Fans of A$AP Rocky have started a Change.org petition in hopes of freeing the rapper from a Sweedish prison following his arrest a week ago.
According to the petition, Rocky, who was involved in an altercation, acted out of self-defense and is being kept in “inhumane conditions,” including “24/7 solitary confinement, restriction of amenities for the most basic of human functions, access to palatable and life sustaining food as well as unsanitary conditions.” The petition also claims that the rapper and his colleagues have been denied their right to counsel and could remain in jail until a trial is scheduled for mid to late August.
A number of big names have taken to social media to promote the movement, including A$AP Ferg, Post Malone, Miguel, Lil Yachty and Guess Jeans.
At the time of publication, the petition had surpassed its goal of 150,000 signees.
