Las Vegas, NV (CelebrityAccess) – The National Football League’s the Oakland Raiders have announced that they have tapped the standalone venue management company AEG Facilities to operate the Raiders new Las Vegas home field.
Still under construction, the new 65,000-seat stadium is expected to open in August 2020, and will serve as home turf for the Raiders, as well as hosting the NCAA FBS University of Nevada Las Vegas Rebels football team along with events including concerts, collegiate championships, international sporting events, family shows, festivals and corporate and special events including the NCAA’s Las Vegas Bowl.
As part of the management deal, AEG Facilities will also take on responsibility for the stadium’s operation in the leadup to its opening, including oversight of hiring and training of the venue’s full-time staff and planning for the facility’s grand opening schedule of events.
