NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) – Lin-Manuel Miranda is headed back to Broadway.

During an appearance on Tuesday’s episode of The Tonight Show, the “Hamilton” mastermind announced he will be bringing “Freestyle Love Supreme” the freestyle rap/improv/comedy group he co-founded — to the Broadway stage of New York’s Booth Theatre later this fall.
Originally conceived by Anthony Veneziale and co-created by “Hamilton’s” Thomas Kail and Miranda back in 2004 when the latter’s “In the Heights” musical was still in development, the stage-show version of the improvisational hip-hop group, made its off-Broadway debut last winter and has been playing in Washington D.C., as part of The Kennedy Center series.
Miranda will make unscheduled appearances during the show’s 16-week run from September 2019 to January 2020. Other occasional performers for the Broadway run include Christopher Jackson, Wayne Brady and Daveed Diggs.
Tickets go on sale to the public July 9.
