NAPA, CA (CelebrityAccess) — Blue Note Entertainment Group announced they are teaming up with Another Planet Entertainment to debut Oxbow RiverStage, a new outdoor entertainment venue in downtown Napa.
The deal will also see the two promoters partnering with the City of Napa to produce a series of outdoor concerts and events at the new venue, which is located in Oxbow Commons.
The 2019 Oxbow RiverStage season will kick off on August 25th with a performance by classic rock veterans The Steve Miller Band, along with Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives.
The inaugural 2019 season will feature both ticketed and free concerts with performers drawn from across a spectrum of genres. Shows will either be seated or general admission with capacities of up to 4000, based on the requirement of the performance.
“We have produced a number of shows in the North Bay counties over the years, but have never found a permanent home up here,” said Gregg Perloff, CEO, and Founder of Another Planet Entertainment. “Oxbow RiverStage will be Another Planet Entertainment’s first exclusive venue in the region and we couldn’t be more excited to bring world-class music to Downtown Napa.”
As well, the promoters indicated that plans are in the works for more concerts in 2020, with 5 free shows and 15 ticketed shows in the works between June and October.
“Our goal at Oxbow RiverStage is to create an atmosphere combining really cool elements you might find at both standard outdoor concert venues and music festivals. We will focus on bringing quality events and the best experience to attendees and to the local community in downtown Napa,” said Ken Tesler, owner of Blue Note Napa.
