(CelebrityAccess) — The noted hip-hop label Commission Records has signed a deal with label services and marketing company Big Noise.
The wide-ranging deal will see Big Noise take an equity stake in Commission, as well as providing significant funding for marketing, promotion, staff expansion and infrastructure.
Under the terms of the deal, Commission Founder and C.E.O. Anthony Martini will continue in his leadership role at the label.
Commission Records made a splash in 2018, with artists on its roster landing span five platinum records, five gold records, six consecutive Top 10 urban records, and 4 billion streams worldwide to date.
The label’s current roster includes 24Hrs, 1Playy, Chello, DJ Envy, IDK, Derez Deshon, Lil Dicky, MadeInTYO, Powers Pleasant, and SoulGroupUniverse.
