LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) One of the internet’s biggest animal celebrities, known as Grumpy Cat, died last night after battling infection, according to its owner.
The 7-year-old cat-turned-meme, real name Tardar Sauce, has been photographed with countless celebrities over the years. The cat passed away because of complications from a urinary tract infection and died “in the arms of her mommy, Tabitha,” according to a social media post.
She became a star in 2012 after her photo was posted on Reddit, and even signed a deal with Friskies.
Tardar Sauce made the rounds, taking photos with many celebrities including Blake Shelton, Stan Lee, Elvira, Roberto, Geraldo Rivera, and Hulk Hogan.
