LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Chris Brown is reportedly trying to settle a lawsuit filed by his former manager accusing him of assault and battery.
The singer and Mike G. recently asked a judge to postpone a trial, scheduled to begin June 5, to Oct. 11, according to court documents obtained by The Blast.
Mike G. sued Brown in 2016, accusing the performer of false imprisonment, assault, battery, defamation and breach of contract. The manager was hired in 2012 following the Rihanna incident and to apparently help repair Brown’s image plus helping him get out of debt and off of drugs. He claims that Brown attacked and hospitalized him in 2016 without provocation.
Brown accused Mike G. on social media that the manager was stealing money from him, which Mike G. denies.
