DENVER, CO (CelebrityAccess) — As part of the launch of the Mission Ballroom in Denver, AEG Presents announced the debut Mission Fair Ticketing, which they tout as a new, fan-friendly ticketing system that will be utilized at the ballroom.
To use the new ticket system, fans will go to an AXS.com purchase page, starting with the announcement of an event to the end of the registration term, which AEG says will be clearly noted.
Once there, a would-be concert-goer can enter an amount and type of tickets they’d like to purchase, along with a credit card, which will be charged $1 dollar upfront to ensure it is valid.
Once the registration period ends, all entrants will be reviewed to remove all fraudulent attempts like bots, known scalpers and those attempting to buy more tickets than allowed. Then, an automated system will then randomly select remaining orders to fill until the ticket inventory is exhausted, or everyone has a ticket.
If not randomly selected, the $1 dollar deposit will be refunded within 14 days.
“While we recognize there is no instant gratification upon purchasing tickets we truly hope the community feels this is a more convenient, less stressful and a truly fair method to purchase tickets. As this is a new concept, not every event will employ Mission Fair ticketing. Everyone deserves fair access and we believe Mission Fair Ticketing guarantees that for ALL fans. We look forward to seeing you soon when the Mission Ballroom opens in August 2019.” AEG said in a statement announcing the new system.
