NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Beverage and lifestyle event company Red Bull announced the return of its music festival to New York City in 2019.
The festival will take place at venues around New York City from April 30 and May 18, with FKA twigs, Rosalía, and Tierra Whack included in the lineup for 2019.
Other artists scheduled to perform showcases as part of the festival include Teyana Taylor, who will feature her “House of Petunia” audio-visual experience; Baltimore rapper/producer JPEGMAFIA, Philadelphia-based musician/poet Moor Mother; and the experimental jazz assembly Onyx Collective.
Also on the bill is Holly Herndon, the San-Fran based artist and composer who will perform work from her latest album Proto; and a showcase from Uganda-based festival producer Nyege Nyege, with performances by DJ Kampire and MCZO + Duke.
Unlike a traditional festival, the Red Bull event will take place at participating venues around the city, with performances scheduled for Webster Hall, BRIC, The Rainbow Room, Bearcat, Park Avenue Armory, and the Grand Ballroom At Manhattan Center.
The fest kicks off on April 30th when Rosalía performs at The Webster.
