LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Three men were stabbed following an altercation at a concert by American rapper Roddy Ricch at the Electric Brixton in South London on Tuesday night.
According to The Independent, the fight broke out near the end of his set and left three men in their twenties with knife wounds.
Following the fight, the venue was evacuated and police and medical first responders were called to the scene and the three men were transported to an area hospital, where they were treated and released.
A spokesman for the venue told IQ Magazine: “Electric Brixton has never experienced an incident like this in its history because we pride ourselves on our stringent and rigorous security procedures.
“The safety of our guests is paramount and as such, wand searches and body searches are used by security personnel before entry; these processes are in accordance with police guidelines. We will work with the authorities to examine what happened and if new measures need to be put in place.”
Following the melee, Ricch took to social media to underscore that he had ‘zero involvement’ with the incident.
“After a successful performance, an unfortunate event occurred in the area of the venue that I had ZERO involvement in. I send prayers to London and hope to spread peace throughout,” he wrote.
