(CelebrityAccess) — Just Days after unconfirmed reports circulated suggesting that Ozzy Osbourne had been moved to intensive care for treatment of complications with the flu, his wife Sharon revealed that he was on the mend.
On Tuesday, Osbourne returned to her talk show The Talk to provide an admittedly brief update on the former Black Sabbath frontman’s health situation.
“He’s breathing on his own. He’s overcome by the response he’s had,” she said during the appearance. While she did not elaborate on the 70-year-old rocker’s condition, her comments suggested that Ozzy had been on a respirator.
Sharon later took to Twitter to thank fans and well-wishers for their support.
Thank you to everyone for all your get well messages and support for Ozzy. We are overwhelmed and truly touched by everyone’s thoughtfulness.

Osbourne was slated to tour the UK and Europe with Judas Priest, but called the tour off on January 29th, claiming that doctors had recommended hospitalization to address a respiratory infection.
Ozzy is next scheduled for shows in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan in March before he returns to North America for a series of dates starting in late May.
