LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Comedian Kevin Barnett, who co-created the Fox situation comedy Rel, has reportedly died. He was 32.

Barnett’s death was reported by Fox Entertainment, who released a statement: “Our hearts are broken, as are those of everyone at ‘Rel,’ at the news of Kevin Barnett’s passing. He was an incredibly funny, wildly talented man who had so much more to do and so many more stories to tell. We send our thoughts and prayers to his friends and family during this difficult time.”

Barnett’s death was also confirmed by his agency UTA, which tweeted condolences at the actor’s passing.

Barnett, who was a rising star in the world of comedy, co-created the Fox comedy ‘Rel’ with his fellow comedian Lil Rel Howery. The show, which stars Lil Rel Howery as Rel, a Chicago man trying to rebuild his life after his ex-wife slept with his barber, debuted on Fox in September but failed to gain much traction.

A cause of death for Barnett has not been disclosed.
