ENGLAND (CelebrityAccess) The Cranberries have released a new song, “All Over Now,” on the anniversary of the death of singer Dolores O’Riordan.
Exactly 12 months after Riordan was found dead in a London hotel room, the band premiered the song on BBC Radio 2. The song opens with the line, “Do you remember that night at a hotel in London?”
Guitarist Noel Hogan said working on the song was emotionally draining.
“The hardest part for us was, a couple of months after she passed, you start going back through the demos,” Hogan said. “It was hard at first to listen to Dolores coming through the speakers like that. I found you could only take x amount of time a day.”
The album, In The End, will be released in April, and then the band will split permanently. Hogan said he hoped the album would be “a celebration this band and Dolores and the legacy we’ll leave behind.”
