(CelebrityAccess) – Following the announcement of this year’s Coachella line-up earlier this week, YouTube has now announced that it has expanded its agreement with the festival to serve as its exclusive playlist and livestream partner.
As part of the expanded deal, YouTube Music will provide exclusive playlist integration across the Coachella site and festival app, which fans can use to listen to this year’s line-up, genre-based playlists and discover emerging acts. YouTube will also livestream the opening weekend and, for the first time during weekend two, deliver content including performances, interviews and behind the scenes footage.
YouTube Music and YouTube Premium subscribers in America will have exclusive access to an allocation of tickets for purchase for each weekend.
Coachella 2019 will take place over two weekends this upcoming April (12-14 & 19-21) at the Empire Polo Club in Indio California. This year’s festival will feature headlining performances from Childish Gambino, Tame Impala and Ariana Grande.
