LAKE TAHOE, NV (CelebrityAccess) — Organizers for MTV’s SnowGlobe Music Festival announced plans to expand the event’s sponsorship program when it returns to Lake Tahoe for its eighth year on December 29-31, 2018.
The annual three-day event draws crowds of more than 20,000 per day, with musical performances, live action sports, and exhibits.
This year, the festival has added sponsors that include Aviator Nation, Bev Rosé, Billboard, Citi, Coors Light, Don Julio, Eno, Electric Standard Co. Golden State Cider, Hop alley, Jack Daniel’s, Lyft, Monster Energy, Saint Archer, and the City of Lake Tahoe, among others.
The festival is billed as the largest outdoor New Year’s Eve festival in North America. The headline for 2018 includes Above & Beyond, Diplo, Eric Prydz, Rezz, RL Grime, Sofi Tukker, Big Gigantic, and Gorgon City, and organizers recently announced that G-Eazy, Goldlink, Kaskade, Rae Sremmurd, Tyga and Ashe have joined the bill for this year as well.
The festival also offers a slate of winter sports, including live “Big Air” snowboard and skiing demos adjacent to the Main Stage, 13,000 square feet of heated enclosed spaces, and a fireworks display.
New for the festival this ear is The Nook, a vendor exhibit area, and a ski & snowboard Rail Jam. The festival is also debuting custom merch collaborations with Aviator Nation and Billboard Magazine, and a ‘hot drink’ bar that’s serving cocktails tied into sponsor products – what fun!
