LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – BMG has hired music industry veteran Jonathan Palmer as Senior Vice President, Creative Synch.
In his new role, Palmer, who will report directly to Patrick Joest, Global EVP, Marketing & Licensing, will lead the company’s creative sync teams in both New York and Los Angeles while working alongside the US and international synch licensing teams.
Palmer comes to BMG from boutique music firm A Suit of Leaves where, as a principle, he represented a diverse range of clients including Riptide Music, Faction Management, Cooking Vinyl, WAX LTD, Syn Music, CAST Management, Netflix, MTV, NBC, ABC, HBO, Media Arts Lab, and Tremolo Productions, as well as a vast array of independent artists.
Throughout his career, Palmer has previously held positions with SONGS Music Publishing, Bug Music, where he worked with artists including Iggy Pop, Rosanne Cash, Ryan Adams, and the catalogs of Johnny Cash and Willie Dixon, Sony/ATV, where he handled the catalog of The Beatles, Sanctuary Records, and Columbia Records, where he represented artists such as Adele, John Legend, Beyoncé and AC/DC.
