PADUCAH, Kentucky (CelebrityAccess) — Facilities management company VenuWorks has been tapped to manage the Paducah Convention and Expo Center after being selected for the role by The Paducah-McCracken County Convention Center Corporation Board.
“We are privileged to have been selected by the Paducah-McCracken County Convention Center Corporation Board to manage and operate the Paducah Convention and Expo Center. We look forward to working with the Board and the venue staff to enhance the event experience for clients, patron, and the community,” said Steve Peters, President of VenuWorks.
The Paducah Convention and Expo Center is a multi-purpose facility with 110,000 square feet of meeting space. Located within walking distance of downtown Paducah, the venue offers balcony access to waterfront views along the Ohio River.
The facility also features a 40,000 square foot expo center, with flexible capacity for concerts and trade shows.
VenuWorks will assume management of the facilities on Monday, February 4 and begin to implement its transition plan which includes staff evaluation and reorganization, as well as new customer service systems and controls, community outreach, and collaborating with the Convention and Visitors Bureau on new sales and marketing approaches.
