NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess) — The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers announced they were partnering with the Country Music Association and Nashville’s Bluebird Café to continue the tradition of the Sundance ASCAP Music Café concert series at the Sundance Film Festival.
Held at the famed Bluebird Café, the concert series will feature some of Nashville’s rising stars, as well as established country music artists. Songwriters and artists from a variety of music genres beyond country fare will also perform at the Café during the film festival.
Carlton Anderson, Jacob Davis and JT Harding already performed during a sold-out show at the Bluebird on Dec. 6th and the rest of the lineup for January will be announced early next year.
“Music and film are undeniably intertwined, and the Sundance ASCAP Music Café is a truly unique opportunity to showcase Nashville’s best. We are thrilled to partner with two iconic Country music institutions, the ACM and The Bluebird Cafe, to bring our talented songwriters and artists to one of the world’s most renowned film festivals.”
The concert series has been staged by ASCAP at the film festival for more than 20 years.
