NORWAY (CelebrityAccess) – Norway’s Hove Festival (Hovefestivalen) has announced that it will, after a five-year hiatus, be making a comeback under new management in 2019.
The new event, Hove Music Festival, is being organized by Arendal-based Seaside Production, with support from the municipality of Arendal.
According to festival director and CEO of Seaside Production, Marius Berge Amundsen, the company has secured financial support from several of Norway’s leading promoters, as well as a long-term lease agreement for the festival site on the island of Tromøy––the former home of Hove Fest.
Benedikte Nilsen, the former CEO of Hove Republic––the Festival Republic-backed company which organized the previous incarnation of Hove festival––is among the new festival’s shareholders.
Early-bird tickets are now on sale now for Hove Music Festival 2019. The 2019 lineup will be announced in the coming months.
