LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Danny Boyle has been named as an agent in APA Concerts department, per a joint announcement by Bruce Solar, EVP Worldwide Music, and Christianne Weiss, VP and Head of Adult Contemporary at APA.
Boyle, who will be based in APA’s Los Angeles offices, will handle territorial bookings in the southern United States and represents the bands Fastball and The National Parks.
Boyle signed on with APA in 2015 and has been on Christianne Weiss’s desk, assisting with her clients including Eddie Money, The O’Jays, Peter Cetera, and Felix Cavaliere’s Rascals.
Prior to joining APA, Boyle was a production assistant with DLF Live!, the live production events division associated with the David Lynch Foundation, where he was part of the team that worked with The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles on projects such as The Music of David Lynch and A Hal Willner Production: Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of ‘Howl’ by Allen Ginsberg.
Boyle is a graduate of University of New York College at Oneonta where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in the music industry. He also received his Juris Doctorate from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in Central Islip, New York, and is a member of the New York State Bar Association, as well as the Entertainment Arts & Sports Law Section.
