LONDON (CelebrityAccess) – The UK’s Wireless Festival has been slapped with a series of pretty ridiculous bans: “no swearing and no offensive attire”.
Following a number of complaints from the non-profit sector, the Friends of Finsbury Park Haringey council decided to impose the conditions on event organiser Live Nation insisting it must uphold the terms if the hip-hop festival wants to stay in its Finsbury Park home in North London come 2019.
The council is requesting that “performers do not sing or play any vulgar, obscene or banned songs or carry out indecent acts or make any vulgar gestures, actions or remarks during the performance.” Performers are also asked “not to offend the general public” and to avoid wearing “attire which exposes the groin, private parts, buttock or female breast(s).”
New sound level limits and an earlier end time will also be imposed.
