ALLENTOWN, PA (CelebrityAccess) — The Pig Pen Fun Bar in Allentown has just completed renovations on its new 1,500 capacity Event Center as it prepares to square off with other concert venues in the region.
“We wanted to be able to compete with some of the bigger rooms in NYC, Philly, and DC, so we decided to remodel and offer two large venues for entertainment” Pig Pen Fun Bar owner John Ruble said. “On any given day, we might have up to four separate events going on in our facility” added David Madochick. “We want to offer a large variety of entertainment, targeting our core market in Lehigh Valley”. “We want to offer it all, Rock, Country, Latin, Hip-Hop, Comedy, EDM, heck even MMA and Wrestling” “We want to be known as a true Entertainment Complex”.
In addition to its new event center, the 30,000 square foot entertainment complex also features its current 750 capacity main room, as well as a pub and a 12-lane indoor bowling alley.
Following the opening of the new concert space, the Pig Pen has already bolstered its concert offerings and recent additions to its concert calendar include Seckond Chaynce, Struggle Jennings, Colt Ford, Rodney Atkins, Joe Nichols, Bubba Sparxxx, Confederate Railroad, Rehab, and Hyperglow.
“We look forward to bringing in some large national acts to our all-new facility. We’re the only venue in the Tri-States area that has two state-of-the-art Clair Global sound rigs. We love seeing the shock on performers’ faces when they see the venue for the first time, They always exclaim they never expected to find a complex like this in PA,” Ruble added.
