(CelebrityAccess) – The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame today (Oct. 9) announced the nominees for induction into its Rock Hall class of 2019.
Among this year’s nominees are Def Leppard, Devo, Janet Jackson, John Prine, Kraftwerk, LL Cool J, MC5, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Roxy Music, Stevie Nicks, the Cure, Todd Rundgren, Rufus & Chaka Kahn and the Zombies. Nine of the 15 artists have been nominated before.
Although the final decision as to which acts make the yearly cut always comes down to the discretion of an international body of more than 1,000 voting members, fans can cast their ballots via RockHall.com.
Voting will be open Oct. 9 through Dec. 9, 11:59pm ET. The top 5 artists chosen by the public will comprise a ‘fans’ ballot’ that is tallied along with the other ballots. Fans can also vote in-person at the Rock Hall in Cleveland.
The 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is scheduled to take place March 29, 2019, in Brooklyn, NY, at Barclays Center. Tickets go on sale in January.
