(CelebrityAccess) – Carpenter and stage rigger, Julian Aguirre, is suing LiveNation following an injury he sustained during the production of Drake’s 2016 tour.
According to Agguire’s claim, on Sept. 24, 2016, he was asked to install a new “header” to replace a part of Drake’s stage design, and when he warned the assembly team it didn’t look ready he was told to “shut up and put the piece in.”
Agguire also claims that the piece was “missing tabs used to lock it in place,” and that although he tried to ensure its safety by installing a C clamp, ultimately both he and the piece fell roughly eight feet to the floor below. Agguire landed on his back and hit his head in the process.
He is seeking unspecified damages for “orthopedic, neurological, internal, emotional, and other injuries.” Drake is not a named defendant in the suit.
