LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — On Tuesday, rapper Lil Xan revealed he’d been checked into the hospital briefly.
In a short video posted to his Instagram stories account, Lil Xan surprised his fans with a photo of himself in the back of an ambulance.
In a subsequent Instagram video, he showed off what appeared to be his hospital bracelet and admitted he’d sought medical care, though he was quick to note that it wasn’t for anything to do with drugs.
“I was in the hospital not due to any drugs, but I guess I ate too many Hot Cheetos,” he said in the video.
The “Betrayed” rapper is set to kick off his third concert tour “Total Xanarchy” in New York on Wednesday.
Lil Xan, whose real name is Diego Leanos, has previously admitted to battling addiction issues with opiates and other benzodiazepines such as Xanax, where he got his stage name. Since then, he’s professed to getting clean and has urged other people to stop using drugs.
To be fair, Hot Cheetos are quite spicy.
