NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — MusicRow is reporting Storied Nashville-based talent agency Buddy Lee Attractions has closed its doors.
According to MusicRow, Buddy Lee Attractions CEO Donna Lee confirmed that the agency had shuttered.
Buddy Lee Attractions was founded in 1964 as Aud-Lee Attractions, and then in 1968, it became Buddy Lee Attractions after it was acquired by its co-founder Buddy Lee.
Over the years, BLA has served as the agency home for some of the top names in country music, including Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, George Strait, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, and Hank Williams Jr.
The agency’s roster also included classic rock and inspirational artists such as John Cafferty and Rick Derringer.
The agency employed approximately 12 staffers, including Vice Presidents David Kiswiney, Sr. and Steve Peck; as well as agents Mike Meade, Joan Saltel, Jimmy Dasher, Aura Guadagno, Amy Aylward, Tyler Brock, and Jon Sayles.
News of the shutdown came as a surprise after the agency announced the signing of Texas musician Gary Kyle at the end of August.
