LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — The Weird & The Wonderful, an artist management and music collective announced that veteran manager Paul Allen and his business colleague Lawrence Jones have joined the team.
According to Music Business Worldwide, who first reported the news, Allen brings a roster that includes established artist Philip George as well as underground artists Emanuel Satie, Alex Niggemann, Third Son, DJ Deeon, and Kincaid.
His previous clients have included Tricky, Tales of Us, and Nadine Shah.
“I’m very excited to be teaming up with The Weird & The Wonderful. Steven, Sophia, and their team have built an incredibly exciting and varied roster and the passion and vision with which they approach their work is infectious and inspiring,” Allen said
Allen joins TW&TW with more than 2 decades of experience in the music biz, first as a working DJ, before he transitioned into an A&R role at London Records.
He then did a twelve-year stint at Anglo Management, where he collaborated with numerous artists, including veteran DJ, producer, and radio host Pete Tong.
Allen went on to develop and manage several club brands for Tong, including Wonderland, Le Grand Bazaar, and All Gone Pete Tong, MBW reported.
In 2013, Allen co-founded ALT Management with a roster that included Philip George, Martin Buttrich, Emanuel Satie, Joe Goddard, 2 Bears, Blond:ish and Better Lost Than Stupid.
