LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Swedish DJ/producer Alesso has signed an exclusive global recording contract with Universal Music Group’s 10:22 pm imprint.
The signing comes just weeks after the label announced a deal with YouTube star Lele Pons. Both Lele and Alesso are associated with Los Angeles Entertainment company Shots Studio.
Alesso’s new album, Remedy, is slated for release on the label Friday, Aug. 31. He is also scheduled to perform at Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series in New York’s Central Park as well as at Electric Zoo music festival on Sunday, September 2.
Commenting on the deal and his forthcoming release, Alesso recently told Billboard: “I always strive to create music that feels a year ahead, and Remedy sounds like 2019 already to me. So launching the track and creating future progressive music, with such a progressive team is a perfect fit for me.”
