SAN DEIGO (CelebrityAccess) — A YouTube personality is known as “McSkillet” has been identified as the driver in a fatal crash that left three people dead.

According to NPR affiliate KISU, 18-year-old Trevor “McSkillet” Heitmann was driving a McLaren 650S sports car at high speed in the wrong direction on I-805 when his vehicle struck a 2010 Hyundai SUV near La Jolla Village.

The accident resulted in a series of collisions involving up to five vehicles, leaving two on fire.

Heitmann, as well as a 43-year-old mother and her 12-year-old daughter, were pronounced dead at the scene. One other victim was transported for serious but non-life threatening injuries, a rep for the California Highway Patrol said.

According to KISU, the circumstances around the crash are under investigation and the McLaren’s driver may have been involved in an incident of vandalism at a nearby elementary school shortly before the wreck.

Heitmann was known for creating YouTube content related to the video game “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive” and for participating in the game’s “skin trading” community, in which users buy, sell and trade cosmetic modifications for use in the game. In addition his activity on YouTube, Heitmann ran CSGO Magic, a popular website for trading skins.

According to Polygon, Heitman was banned from trading in skins in June by CS:GO’s creator Valve. Some other CS:GO skin traders suggested that the ban may have cost Heitman more than $100,000 according to Polygon.
