THACKERVILLE, Okla. (CelebrityAccess) Fourteen people were injured Saturday when a storm blew over supports at an amphitheatre in Thackerville, Okla., prior to a Backstreet Boys concert.
About 150 people were waiting in line at WinStar World Casino when the storm hit with winds estimated up to 80 mph. The wind blew over trusses at the entrance to the venue, landing on the fans, according to USA Today.

The injured were treated at the scene by paramedics and other first responders, then taken to local hospitals. Two were released.
“We know that fans often suffer through inclement weather for their favorite acts, but this was an unusual event and our thoughts are with those who were injured during this storm,” said Kym Koch Thompson, a WinStar spokeswoman.
The concert was canceled.
Officials said they warned the crowd to take cover but those who were still in line “did not heed staff’s warnings,” according to a statement from the resort.
