NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) – The Associated Press has reported that Mark David Chapman, the man who killed John Lennon, is up for parole yet again.
The now 63-year-old, who is currently serving 20 years to life in the Wende Correctional Facility in western New York, is scheduled to go before New York’s parole board next week. It will be his 10th attempt to secure release.
Chapman, who shot and killed Lennon outside his Manhattan apartment on Dec. 8, 1980, was last denied parole two years ago in 2016.
