(CelebrityAccess) – Two weeks after Cardi B pulled out of Bruno Mars’s 24K World Tour, the rapper, who welcomed her first child with husband Offset of Migos on July 11, has announced she will return to the stage starting with Mala Luna Festival in San Antonio on Oct. 27-28.
Cardi initially announced that she would not be performing alongside Mars back on July 26 via an Instagram post that read: “I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically. I also thought that I’d be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing. Not only am I just not ready physically, I’m not ready to leave my baby behind.” She added, “I hope you guys understand. This has been such a hard decision. I want to thank @brunomars for understanding.”
As a show of support, Mars responded via social media with: “Most important thing is you and your family’s health. You are absolutely doing the right thing. … We love you Cardi and will play Bodak Yellow every night in your honor.”
Mala Luna Festival 2018 is set to feature performances by Nicky Jam, Tyler, the Creator, Lil Pump, Becky G and Rich the Kid among others.
