(CelebrityAccess) – Lauryn Hill announced this week that she will be canceling a number of upcoming tour dates on her The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 20th Anniversary Tour.
Performances in Charlotte, North Carolina, Raleigh, North Carolina, St. Petersburg, Florida and Virginia Beach have now been axed, while her Nashville date has been moved to October 11, Atlanta to October 13, and Miami to October 15.
The announcement comes less than two weeks after Hill’s recent Toronto performance garnered a great deal of criticism from both fans and the media alike. Hill arrived nearly an hour late before rushing through ten barely recognizable versions of her hit songs.
A statement released by Live Nation said: “Due to unforeseen production issues, a select number of dates on The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 20th Anniversary Tour have been postponed or canceled. For postponed shows, tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date.”
M.I.A., A$AP Rocky, Nas, Big Boi, Santigold, SZA, Dave Chappelle, and Busta Rhymes were all scheduled to join Hill on various dates throughout the tour.
