(CelebrityAccess) — Emmylou Harris, Jackson Browne, and Steve Earle are among the acts announced for the Lantern Tour which seeks to raise awareness of the plight of families seeking safety at the U.S. border.
The concerts will feature an evening of acoustic performances with proceeds going to benefit the Women’s Refugee Commission.
Other performers lined up for the event include Mary Chapin Carpenter, Shawn Colvin, Lila Downs, and Graham Nash. Noted visual artist Tony Fitzpatrick also lent his talent to the project by creating poster art for the concert series.
The concerts kick off at the City Winery in Nashville on October 23rd, with additional dates scheduled through the month.
