(CelebrityAccess) – MBW has today (July 23) published a fascinating new independent report detailing Drake’s record-breaking streaming numbers and subsequent profits following the release of his groundbreaking new album, Scorpion.
The report, which focuses specifically on Spotify and Apple Music and examines total stream counts across 168 tracks, estimates that the rapper has pulled in more than $100M in revenue between the two platforms alone.
According to MBW, Drake’s catalog, which includes tracks on which he performs as a featured artist, has now generated a whopping 10bn+ streams on Apple Music and 13bn+ on Spotify making him the biggest streaming artist in history, ahead of the likes of Ed Sheeran (9.084bn), Justin Bieber (8.696bn), and Kendrick Lamar (4.589bn).
