MISSOULA, Montana (CelebrityAccess) — Promoter Logjam Presents announced the signing of an exclusive agreement with the City of Missoula to promote and produce entertainment events at the city’s Ogren Park at Allegiance Field, a minor league baseball stadium.
“Missoula is on the map as a quality music community and this agreement meets a number of our goals, including using the community asset that is the stadium for events in addition to the wonderful entertainment the Missoula Osprey offers during its season,” Mayor John Engen said in a press release.
Logjam’s owner Nick Checota said that Logjam would seek to raise the bar on performers at the stadium, bringing high profile acts to the city and in greater numbers.
Logjam also plans to invest in enhancements to the sound and production capabilities of the stadium as well as enhancements to the guest experience, according to a press release.
Logjam also indicated that it plans to work with the city to raise the capacity of the stadium from 8,000 to 10,000 people.
Logjam, which is based in Missoula, also operates the Top Hat Lounge (600 capacity), the Wilma (1,500) and the KettleHouse Amphitheater (4,000). As well, earlier this year, the company revealed plans for a new venue in Bozeman which would have a similar capacity as the Wilma.
“We are very excited to expand our capability in Missoula, Montana,” Checota said in the presser. “Ogren Park will complement our current Missoula venue portfolio of the Top Hat, the Wilma, and the KettleHouse Amphitheater.”
