TOWNSLAND, Australia (CelebrityAccess) The construction of a stadium for then North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville, Australia, is reportedly on schedule.
The 25,000-capacity North Queensland Stadium has already had completion of its civil earthworks, driving piling and other construction steps, according to Pan Stadia.
The stadium features a horseshoe-shaped, cantilever roof inspired by the pandarus plant that allows for roof expansion and retraction because of tropical wind fluctuations, Pan Stadia said.
The stadium is expected to ready for the 2020 NRL season
