(CelebrityAccess) – Sir Paul McCartney has announced the first round of dates for his upcoming ‘Freshen Up’ World Tour, and it looks like he’ll be kicking things off in Canada this fall.
The former Beatle will be touring in support of his forthcoming album Egypt Station, which is set for release on September 7. The album – his seventeenth solo LP – was largely produced by Greg Kurstin and includes the tracks “I Don’t Know” and “Come on to Me,” the latter of which was debuted on McCartney’s recent episode of Car Pool Karaoke with James Corden.
As for what the hell ‘freshen up’ refers to, McCartney explained: “We are looking forward to freshening up our show and playing some of our songs from the new album alongside those songs we know you like to hear. Get ready to rock, Canada!”
Tickets for McCartney’s Canadian dates go on sale July 13th.
