LONDON, UK (CelebrityAccess) – Music Week has today (June 26) revealed that Sony/ATV Music Publishing has signed deals to represent the recording catalogs of Bob Marley and Leonard Cohen through its neighboring rights division.
The UK-based operation, which already includes both The Weeknd and Pharrell Williams, will also welcome artists Jamie Scott, Big Shaq, Kojo Funds, Elderbrook and producer Bob Ezrin to its roster.
Of the recent acquisitions, Sony/ATV UK MD and president, worldwide creative, Guy Moot said: “We continue to develop the roster by exclusively signing quality and key artists so we can keep on providing a hands-on and bespoke approach. We’ve also expanded the infrastructure and personnel of the division as part of our goal of delivering the highest-quality service to hitmakers past and present.”
