SYRACUSE (CelebrityAccess) Foreigner original singer Lou Gramm was a no-show for a reunion with the band in Syracuse Tuesday night, blaming a “medical issue.”

The Syracuse media originally said fans were “furious” that Gramm didn’t appear. Live Nation had announced on Friday that the Rochester, N.Y., native would be joining his former band for a show at the St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview. The estimated 8,000 fans instead got a show with current lead singer Kelly Hanson, according to the Syracuse Post-Standard. Founding member Mick Jones was part of the lineup.

No official announcement has apparently been made. “Lou is fine, thanks,” his wife wrote on Facebook. “He will possibly be at some shows this summer & fall!”

Graham officially left the band in 1990 and the 68-year-old singer said he was retiring from music after 2017.

“I’m tired of the business,” he told the paper. “It’s time to hang up the mic… Maybe I’ll get a part-time job at Wegmans.”
