AMSTERDAM, NL (CelebrityAccess) — Dutch promoter Alda Events has acquired full ownership of the annual Amsterdam Music Festival from their partners in the event, Dutch promoter ID&T.
“We look back on a great adventure, in which we have jointly brought AMF to an event of international standing,” Edo van Duyn, director ID&T told Dutch newspaper Het Parool.
“We are delighted that we have reached this agreement with ALDA.In addition to the current portfolio of successful festivals, ID & T will focus on new projects in the near future,” he added.
First held in 2013 at RAI Amsterdam, as a part of the larger part of Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the event has grown in size and now attracts more than 40,000 punters a year.
This year AMF will take place at the newly renamed Johan Cruijff ArenA on Saturday, October 20th.
